Abstract
[Resumo] Nesta colaboración interesámonos pola figura das cigarreiras como motivo de inspiración artística. La Tribuna (1883), terceira novela de Emilia Pardo Bazán, significou o ensaio das técnicas naturalistas por parte da escritora coruñesa, quen tamén foi responsábel da difusión dos novos postulados. Analizamos a trama da novela e reflexionamos acerca do papel da súa protagonista, Amparo, a cigarreira que defende un proxecto político e lidera a loita obreira de Marineda, se ben o valor revolucionario da obra debe ser relativizado.
[Abstract] In this article we are interested for the figure of cigar-makers as a motive of artistic inspiration. La Tribuna (1883), thirth novel by Emilia Pardo Bazán, meant the application of naturalistic techniques and the diffusion of the new literary postulates. We analyze the plot of the novel and the role of its main character, Amparo, the cigar-maker who defends a political project and leads labour fight of Marineda, although the revolutionary value of this work must be reviewed.
