Con la convicción de que la sociología de la educación puede contribuir a la mejora de nuestras sociedades y de su necesaria transformación hacia el decrecimiento (Taibo, 2017), presentamos uno de los principales resultados obtenidos a través de la medición en escalas tipo Likert de las respuestas dadas por 108 jóvenes varones y mujeres veinteañeros de nuestros respectivos entornos culturales (A Coruña y Mallorca), que voluntaria y anónimamente respondieron a dos cuestionarios elaborados para recoger sus opiniones en torno a una de nuestras metáforas zombie (Lizcano, 2006) más actuales como es la de la cibercultura y, también, como ésta ha repercutido en el cambio de sus hábitos a través del uso de tiempos de su vida cotidiana en los últimos cinco años. El análisis de varianza revela que la variable género marca diferencias significativas en la comprensión del fenómeno de la cibercultura, pese a su global hegemonía.
[Abstract] With the conviction that the sociology of education can contribute to the improvement of our societies and their necessary transformation towards the decrease (Taibo, 2017), we present one of the main results obtained through the measurement in Likert scales of the answers given by 108 men and women in their twenties of our respective cultural environments (A Coruña and Mallorca), who voluntarily and anonymously responded to two questionnaires drawn up to gather their opions around one of our most current zombie metaphors (Lizcano, 2006) such as that of cyberculture, and also how this has had repercussion in the change of their habits through the use of times of their daily lives in the last five years. The analysis of variance has revealed that gender variable maintains significant diferences in the undestanding of the phenomenon of cyberculture, despite its global hegemony.
