Abstract
[Abstract]: The aim of this paper is to study the syntactic configuration adopted by the arguments Stimulus, Entity and Event, traditionally analyzed as subjects, with the verbs of sensation, convenience and event in medieval Galician. Based on a corpus of the 13th, 14th and 15th centuries, we analyze the realizations of those arguments from different criteria (grammatical units, animacy, prepositional marking...). In addition to the Latin origins of these constructions, we reflect on the (non-)canonicity of these arguments, fundamentally, from the prepositional marking in some syntactic schemes in medieval Galician.
