O ensino do francés a partir dos anos setenta

Abstract

[Resumo] No presente traballo faise unha análise do progresivo declive ó que se viu sometido o idioma francés nos niveis non universitarios do noso sistema educativo, funda- mentalmente EXB, Bacharelato e Formación Profesional, durante os anos de vixencia da Lei Xeral de Educación de 1970. Analízase como esta lingua se viu paulatinamente susti- tuida polo inglés como idioma estranxeiro máis escollido polo alumnado. Olrécese igual- mente unha panorámica da redistribución das linguas francesa e inglesa no actual marco da LOXSE.

[Abstract] This article presents an analysis of the progressive decline of the French lan- guage in our educational system al the pre-university level, mainly in the elementary, secondary and vocational schools during the years thatthe General Education Act of 1970 was in effeet. There is an analysis 01 how this language was gradually replaced by English as the language most commonly elected by the student body. Also presented is a panora- mic view of the redistribution 01 French and English within the framework of the current Edu- cation Aet LOGSE.
