Héroe y heroísmo en Baltasar Gracián. Hacia la filosofía del desengaño heroico del Criticón.

Abstract

[Resumen] El artículo ofrece un estudio del concepto de “héroe” y “heroísmo” en el pensamiento de Gracián. Se rastrean sus múltiples aspectos y su evolución en las tres facetas de la identidad heroica: desde el planteamiento del problema y la constitución del héroe en sus primeros tratados, pasando por la quiebra y desestabilización de esa visión hasta la transformación del héroe en El Criticón.

[Abstract] The article presents a study of the “hero” and “heroism” concepts in Gracián’s Thought. Their multiple aspects and evolution are traced in all three aspects of the heroic identity: from the approach to the problem and the constitution of the hero in his first treaties, from the failure and destabilization of this vision to the transformation of the hero in El Criticón.
