Abstract
descriptiva y predictiva.
[Abstract] Containerized shipping cargo enters the middle part of the 21st century with all its advantages over other modes intact, but with the addition of new vulnerabilities. The current scenario is one of strong upheaval in the regular patterns of routes and services operated by container ships, with a special impact on certain flow devices (Suez, Bab Al-Mandab, Panama, Hormuz). Thus, it is necessary to move towards representations of the logistical flow in which the spacetime component is again placed at the core of the analysis. It is particularly of interest, a precise approach to the concept of frequency, which will be the main axis of the shipping companies» supply policy. This work presents a new method of representing the trajectory of a ship, considering precisely the parameters of frequency and amplitude as main targets of this novel methodology. Thus, obtaining a new object that we could call «wave function of a ship», in which, simply by extracting a few examples, a new analytical, descriptive and predictive potential can be glimpsed.
