Abstract
in rem), a partir del siglo III a.C.
Horacio, brevis dominus.
[Abstract] At the beginning there was an unitary conception of “belongings”, a simple idea of “mine” (reflected by the assertion meum esse aio of the agere sacramento in rem). Only since the III century b. C. (with the achievement of agere per formulas) was characterized the rule of the dominus, as owner of property; but notwithstanding the fundamentally unlimited right, he can enjoy it only during his lifetime: he is, like Horace says, brevis dominus.
