Proyecto de investigación: Sentimientos y percepciones de los padres de un prematuro ingresado en la UCI Neonatal del CHUF tras la implantación de los cuidados centrados en el desarrollo

Abstract

[Resumen] En los últimos años se han desarrollado grandes avances en la humanización de la atención a los recién nacidos prematuros con la implantación de los cuidados centrados en el desarrollo. Con su aplicación se consigue que el ambiente de la UCI Neonatal sea para el prematuro lo más parecido al medio uterino. Además de producir beneficios importantes para el prematuro, se desvanecen muchos los problemas causados por la separación de los padres e hijo al producirse su ingreso en la unidad, por lo que también produce beneficios para sus progenitores. Por esto, y trascurridos 5 años de su puesta en marcha en la UCI neonatal del Complejo Hospitalario Universitario de Ferrol, es importante conocer cuáles son las percepciones y sentimientos de los padres con la aplicación de intervenciones basadas en la filosofía de los CCD. Este estudio se realizará mediante una perspectiva cualitativa con base fenomenológica, utilizando una entrevista semiestructurada individual a los padres de los RNPT ingresados en la UCIN del CHUF.[Abstract] In the last years it has been developed huge advances in the humanization of the attention to the premature newborn babies with the implantation of the development centred care. With its application it is obtained that the atmosphere of the UCI neonatal is for the premature baby as similar as possible to the uterine way. In addition to producing important benefits for the premature, most of the problems caused by the separation between the parents and their baby when this one is hospitalized in the unit disappear, so it also produces benefits for his progenitors. 8 Sentimientos y percepciones de padres de un prematuro con los CCD For this reason, since 5 years that the UCI neonatal of the Hospitable Complex of the University of Ferrol has started, it is important to know what are the impressions and feelings of the parents with the application of interventions based on the philosophy of the DCC. This study will be carried out through a qualitative perspective with a phenomenological base, using an individual semistructural interview to the parents of the premature newborn babies hospitalized in the UCIN of the CHUF.
