Abstract
[Resumen] El artículo ofrece un estudio del concepto de “juicio” en el pensamiento graciano. Tras analizar el juicio como facultad filosófica que nace del entendimiento, se atiende a la relación de éste con la razón y con el ingenio. A través de los personajes de El Criticón se muestra la esencia operativa de la facultad del juicio que está en la censura, en la crítica, en la calificación moral.
[Abstract] The paper offers a study of the concept of “judgment” in Gracian´s Thought. After analysing judgment as a philosophical faculty which is born from understanding, we address its relationship with reason and with “ingenio” (wit). The operative essence of the faculty of judgment that is in censorship, in criticism, in moral qualification is present in the characters in El Criticón.
