Abstract
[Resumo]: Este proxecto presenta o desenvolvemento dun sistema de visión artificial para a clasificación automática de residuos. A solución implementa un enfoque en dúas fases: detección de obxectos mediante o modelo YOLO e clasificación en clases principais e subclases a través de redes neuronais convolucionais. Para o adestramento aplicáronse técnicas de aumento de datos e balanceo de clases, mellorando a robustez do sistema. Ademais, deseñouse e desenvolveuse unha interface gráfica que permite a interacción co sistema de forma sinxela, incluíndo funcionalidades de procesamento en directo, análise de imaxes e consulta de estatísticas.
[Abstract]: This project presents the development of a computer vision system for automatic waste classification. The solution implements a two-stage approach: object detection using the YOLO model and classification into main classes and subclasses through convolutional neural networks. For training, data augmentation and class balancing techniques were applied to improve system robustness. In addition, a graphical user interface was designed and developed to provide simple interaction with the system, including real-time processing, image analysis and statistics visualization.
