[Resumen]
Esta investigación analiza las representaciones sociales del alumnado de secundaria sobre las migraciones forzosas. El estudio se llevó a cabo a través de un cuestionario, con dos grupos de estudiantes que seguían una materia con metodología tradicional y enfoque positivista. Se exploraron sus representaciones sociales sobre la migración forzosa como un problema social relevante y sus opiniones respecto a incorporar estas temáticas como estructurantes de la materia de Ciencias Sociales. Los resultados muestran un alumnado favorable a incorporar dichas temáticas, que consideran útiles, a la vez que se detectan representaciones sociales positivas hacia las personas migrantes.
[Abstract] This research analyzes the social representations of high school students about forced migrations. The study was conducted by using a questionnaire to two groups of students who followed a course based on traditional methodology and a positivist approach. The research explored students’ social representations about forced migration as a relevant social problem and their opinions regarding incorporating these topics as a structural aspect of Social Sciences. Results showed that students responded positively regarding incorporating these themes in the subject, which they considered useful; and we detected positive social representations towards migrants.
