Analisa algumas perspectivas epistemológicas sobre o conceito na Organização do conhecimento com base
em Ingetraut Dahlberg, Maria Pozzi e Birger Hjørland. Apresenta síntese de pesquisa sobre o conceito em
periódicos de Ciência da Informação, identificando linhas de força teóricas e metodológicas no discurso
de pesquisadores brasileiros. Conclui que predominam modelos lógico-positivistas em abordagens
dogmáticas e críticas. Indica a necessidade de discussões epistemológicas sobre teorias de fixação e de
formação e uso de conceitos.
[Abstract] Analyzes some epistemological perspectives on the concept in Knowledge Organization based on Ingetraut Dahlberg, Maria Pozzi and Birger Hjørland. Presents a synthesis of research on the concept of information science journals, identifying lines of force in the theoretical and methodological discourse of Brazilian researchers. Concludes that predominate logical positivist approaches and dogmatic criticism. Indicates the need for epistemological discussions about theories of fixation and training and use of concepts.
