Abstract
[Abstract]: This study demystifies democracy and its representative basis in a generally idealized entity such as the European Union. Based on the previous problematic, it tries to bring closer enterprises and mathematics revealing its utility further than accountancy and their environment. Its structure captures a first initial look to what mathematics mean behind democracy to analyze, later, the European Union’s electoral system, its behavior and resilience after Brexit, using as tools the last two elections to the European Parliament and two mathematical systems, the traditional Loosemore-Hanby measure and the innovative adivergence. Finally, conclusions obtained are used on enterprise problematics proposing several solutions and critical conclusions.
