Abstract
[Resumen] Mediante este estudio investigamos acerca de los propósitos que motivan el aprendizaje del alumnado de bachillerato, si lo hacen para aprender (metas de aprendizaje), si estudian simplemente para obtener buenos resultados académicos (metas de rendimiento) o si abordan las tareas de estudio pensando en la valoración que su entorno social próximo va a realizar de su trabajo (metas de valoración social). Se ha trabajado con una muestra de 1505 sujetos correspondientes a 31 centros de enseñanza media, de las diferentes especialidades (Ciencias y Tecnología (54.6%), Humanidades y Ciencias Sociales (43.8%) y Artes (1.6%), siendo el 58.7% mujeres y el 41.3% hombres. Para la obtención de los datos se utilizó la escala CDPFA (Cuestionario de datos personales, familiares y académicos). Los resultados obtenidos mediante análisis correlacionales y análisis de comparación de medias muestran que este alumnado adopta
mayoritariamente metas de rendimiento, seguidas de las de aprendizaje y de valoración social.
[Abstract] This paper tries to investigate the purpose which motivates the learning of high school students. If their goals are learning (learning goals), if they study to obtain good academic results (performance goals) or if they approach study tasks thinking in social environment evaluation of their work (social assessment goals). We have worked with a sample of 1,505 high school students from 31 secondary education centers, from different specialties (Science and Technology (54,6%), Humanities and Social Science (43,8%) and Arts (43,8%), being 58,7% women and 41,3% men. In order to obtain data we have used CDPFA (Questionnaire of Personal, Family and Academic Data). The results obtained through correlational analysis and average comparisons show that students mostly adopt performance goals, followed by learning and social assessment ones.
