Abstract
[Abstract] In this work is presented the development of an embedded system that allows to introduce in Industry 4.0 to old equipment with a long useful life, as in this case a pneumatic manipulator. A pneumatic manipulator has been given the ability to automatically detect the load weight attached to it, without the need for a previous configuration. For this purpose, a prototype has been developed divided into two parts. The first is based on an Arduino for control and data collection, with support of a Raspberry Pi to give the connectivity Arduino lacks. The second one is a web service for an HMI for the interaction between the operator and the manipulator and a dashboard for configuration, visualization and exploitation of the data collected.
