Abstract
[Resumen] En este artículo se plantean varios ejemplos de las tradicionales canciones inglesas conocidas como Nursery Rhymes para su posterior aplicación como recurso didáctico para la enseñanza-aprendizaje de la Lengua Inglesa. Además de revisar aspectos generales relacionados con la historia, la cultura popular y la sociedad de la época en la que fueron creadas proponemos, en este estudio, una definición, posibles estructuras formales e incluso varias tipologías para estas canciones. Por otra parte, se realiza un ejercicio de actualización textual por medio del modelo teórico-práctico de la transpodidáctica textual ideado por la autora de este trabajo, aunque adaptándolo a las necesidades de esta propuesta en particular. Concretamente, partiendo de la tradicional Nursery Rhyme: “Hark, hark, the dogs do bark” proponemos seguir los pasos del proceso transpodidáctico a través del estudio paralelo de la canción más actualizada: “The fox”, lanzada por los noruegos Ylvis en 2013 que resultó ser viral en el momento y cuenta más de 500 millones de visitas en la actualidad. Por último, se contribuye con esta aportación al desarrollo de la Competencia en Comunicación Lingüística en una Lengua Extranjera fomentando el trabajo en equipo y la motivación en el aula.
[Abstract] Several examples of traditional English songs known as Nursery Rhymes are presented in this article. They will be used as a didactic resource for the Teaching and Learning of a Foreign Language. In addition, general aspects related to history, popular culture and society of the time in which these rhymes were produced will be reviewed. In this article, we introduce our personal proposal for a definition, possible formal structures and even several typologies for these songs. Moreover, an updating of one of these rhymes is carried out by means of the so-called model of Textual Transpodidactics, designed by the author of this study, although it has been slightly adapted to the needs of this particular proposal. Precisely, our example is the old Nursery Rhyme: “Hark, hark, the dogs do bark” updated throughout the song: “The fox” produced by the Norwegians Ylvis in 2013 which turned out to be very notorious on that moment. Lastly, this study contributes to the development of the Linguistic Communication Competence in a Foreign Language encouraging teamwork and motivation in the classroom.
