Abstract

"In recent years, there has been an increase in the installation of data capture devices in care centers for people with disabilities. These devices allow monitoring of presence, door opening, possible falls, or health data such as sleep quality or physical activity. It is common for each of these sensors to be managed from independent platforms, which can be a barrier to accessing information. This project aimed to develop a Home Assistant platform capable of integrating different devices, thus optimizing access to data. In addition, the platform can issue alerts on people's status in certain situations and allow the configuration of different routines of interest based on the combination of various data sources."
