[Resumo] Este articulo non é só un compendio de normas sobre o deseño gráfico aplicado á
Interpretación do Patrimonio, senón un manifesto sobre o que é un interprete grafico e
cal é a situación destes/as profesionais a día de hoxe. O traballo do interprete grafico
circunscríbese dentro do que se denomina Interpretación do Patrimonio “non persoal”
realizada por un interprete non presente no momento da visita do público e levada a
cabo por medio de elementos de comunicación grafica. Un artigo que intenta arroxar
un pouco de luz sobre unha profesión complexa e non suficientemente valorada. A
orixe está no descoñecemento de todo o proceso creativo..
[Abstract] This paper is not just a summary of graphic design rules applied to Heritage Interpreting, but a manifesto regarding what a graphic interpreter is and in what situation these professionals are nowadays. The work of a graphic interpreter is included in “non personal” Heritage Interpretation, done by an interpreter who is not present at the time of the public’s visit and carried out through elements of graphic communication. The paper tries to shed some light on a complex, undervalued profession. The origin of this situation is In the lack of awareness of the entire creative process.
