Metodología del cultivo de rotífero (Brachionus spp.) en un criadero de rodaballo y ensayo de eficiencia de un biocida sobre cultivos experimentales de rotífero

Abstract

[Resumen]: En este trabajo se resume la metodología y los procedimientos del cultivo de rotífero (Brachionus spp.) llevados a cabo durante el período de prácticas en el criadero de rodaballo de la granja de Quilmas (Carnota). Durante esta estancia, se realizó el ensayo de eficiencia de un biocida comercial sobre cultivos de rotífero experimentales. El objetivo era comprobar si el tratamiento nuevo, mejoraba la calidad microbiológica con respecto al actual y comprobar si afectaba al rendimiento de los cultivos de producción intensiva. Como resultado, obtuvimos que el nuevo tratamiento no afectaba apenas al rendimiento ni al estado del rotífero. También mostraba una mayor efectividad disminuyendo la carga bacteriana que el control durante los primeros pases del experimento. No obstante, tras esto se invierte la tendencia y el biocida sufre una bajada drástica de su efectividad.[Abstract]: In this work, it´s summarized the methodology and procedures of rotifer culture (Brachionus spp.) carried out during the internship period in the turbot hatchery of Quilmas farm (Carnota). During this internship, an efficiency assay of a commercial biocide on experimental rotifer cultures was carried out. The objective was to test if the new treatment improved the microbiological quality with respect to the current one and to check if it affected the yield of the intensive production cultures. As a result, we obtained that the new treatment barely affected the yield or the state of the rotifer. It also showed greater effectiveness by decreasing the bacterial load than the control during the first passes of the experiment. However, after this the trend is reversed and the biocide suffers a drastic drop in its effectiveness.
