Abstract
[Resumen] Este trabajo analiza la evolución de esta modalidad de escuelas técnicas en
Francia y España, destacando las similitudes y diferencias de este tipo de instituciones en
uno y otro país, prestando especial atención a las Escuelas de Artes y Oficios de Galicia en
ese periodo. Intenta también establecer una relación entre estos centros y sus respectivos
entornos, señalando los resultados producidos por este tipo.
[Abstract] This paper examines the evolution of this type of technical school in both France and Spain, pointing out some of the similarities and differences between the two countries regarding these kinds of institutions, with special attention givent to the Arts and Trade Schools in Galicia during that period of time. It also attempts to establish a relationship between these schools and their environments, highlighting the results of an in these environments.
