Caracterización isotópica de Elba: la mujer mesolítica de Chan do Lindeiro (Pedrafita, Lugo, Península Ibérica)

Abstract

[Resumen] El estudio de isótopos estables de carbono y nitrógeno de la mujer mesolítica recuperada en la cueva de Chan do Lindeiro (Pedrafita do Courel, Lugo) y la comparación con otros humanos procedentes de diversos yacimientos de la Cornisa Cantábrica permite encuadrar a este individuo en una etapa transicional, con una economía diferente a la de los cazadores-recolectores paleolíticos pero también distinta a la de los posteriores productores neolíticos. La relación entre esta mujer y los uros (Bos primigenius) recuperados en el mismo yacimiento puede haber sido diferente al simple aprovechamiento cárnico.[Abstract] The study of stable isotopes of carbon and nitrogen of the mesolithic woman recovered in the cave of Chan do Lindeiro (Pedrafita do Courel, Lugo) and the comparison with other humans from diverse deposits of the Cantabrian Cornice allows to frame this individual in a transicional stage, with an economy different from that of the Paleolithic hunter-gatherers but also different from that of the later Neolithic producers. The relationship between this woman and the aurochs (Bos primigenius) recovered at the same site may have been different from simple meat harvesting.
