Abstract
[Resumen] Tras resaltar las características que identifican a la casa tradicional gallega –con-
siderada como una figura central en el Derecho de esta Comunidad- y hacer referencia
a algunos de los instrumentos consuetudinarios que, surgidos en torno a aquélla, se
encontraban destinados a conseguir su conservación y continuidad, analizamos en el
presente trabajo el paradójico proceso normativo operado en Galicia, tendente a esta-
blecer su indivisibilidad.
[Abstract] After remarking the distinguishing features of the traditional house (casa) of Galicia – a central institution in the law of this region – and pointing out some of the consuetudinary law instruments which concerned it and were aimed to let it survive and go on, it is discussed in this paper the paradoxical legislatory process in Galicia aimed to fix its indivisibility.
