El fragmento de Berlín atribuido a Hildegarde de Bingen y la actividad del scriptorium de Rupertsberg

Abstract

[Resumen] Se conoce como fragmento de Berlín una miscelánea atribuida a Hildegarde de Bingen y conservada en un solo manuscrito (Staatsbibliothek Preußischer Kulturbesitz, Lat. Qu. 674). A partir del análisis de varios pasajes se propone una interpretación del fragmento como un texto no unitario, probablemente una recopilación de escritos variados conservados en el scriptorium de Rupertsberg de manera dispersa y que, al menos en parte, representan ideas, bocetos o redacciones descartadas de las obras de Hildegarde, producto quizás de un contexto de autoría colaborativa. Algunos pasajes referidos a la rota del Liber diuinorum operum permiten intuir la existencia de instrucciones textuales para la elaboración de las ilustraciones del manuscrito de Lucca, Biblioteca Statale, 1942, cuyo origen parece estar próximo al del códice de Berlín que contiene el fragmento. [Abstract] A miscellany attributed to Hildegard of Bingen known as the Berlin fragment survives in a single manuscript (Berlin, Staatsbibliothek Preußischer Kulturbesitz, Lat. Qu. 674). From the analysis of several passages, an interpretation of the fragment as a non-unitary text is proposed; it was probably a compilation of a variety of writings preserved in Rupertsberg’s scriptorium in a dispersed way, which, at least in part, represent ideas, drafts or discarded versions from Hildegard’s works, perhaps produced in a context of collaborative authorship. Some passages referring to the rota of the Liber diuinorum operum allow us to surmise the existence of textual instructions for the elaboration of the illustrations of the Lucca manuscript (Biblioteca Statale, 1942), whose origin seems to be close to that of the Berlin codex that contains the fragment.
