Abstract
[Resumen] Este trabajo examina el impacto de la innovación tecnológica, particularmente
la inteligencia artificial (IA) y la robotización, en el mercado laboral del sector
marítimo en el contexto de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS). Desde un
enfoque holístico, explora cómo las regulaciones fiscales y laborales internacionales
interactúan con el avance tecnológico en el mar e influyen en el mercado de trabajo.
Se analizan los incentivos fiscales, especialmente en España, para fomentar la innovación
y la preservación ambiental, así como el impacto de la tecnología Blockchain
en las actividades marítimas. El estudio presenta conclusiones relativas al fomento
de empleo en el mar, compatible con el desarrollo de nuevas tecnologías en un
entorno de sostenibilidad social, económica y ambiental.
[Abstract] This paper examines the impact of technological innovation, particularly artificial intelligence (AI) and robotisation, on the maritime labour market in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). From a holistic approach, it explores how international tax and labour regulations interact with technological advancement at sea and influence the labour market. It analyses tax incentives, especially in Spain, to encourage innovation and environmental preservation, as well as the impact of Blockchain technology on maritime activities. The study presents conclusions regarding the promotion of employment at sea, compatible with the development of new technologies in an environment of social, economic and environmental sustainability.
