Abstract
[Abstract] This article emerges from professional reflection, knowledge and experimentation with inhabit artists in the last decade (2007-2019). A participative methodology in which contemporary artists are involved, usually emergent youngsters, through an artistic and cultural mediation process, in a full time month period, assuming collective and shared projects in Arts Education. We refer to habitant artists rather than residents because we understand that inhabit is different to reside. This philosophy also has an influence in the way the methodology is understood and affects all participants: teachers both trainees and professionals, artists, learning environments and students at different stages (nursery, primary and secondary). Substituting inhabit by reside is not only a change of concept but also a new way of thinking, building and developing quality projects for a sensitive Arts Education with the social context.
