Abstract

[Resumen] El espacio expositivo actúa como lugar de experimentación artística y arquitectónica. Su capacidad para la interacción directa con el espectador lleva a que propuestas como la Sala surrealista de la galería Art of This Century (Frederick Kiesler, Nueva York, 1942) se plantee como un espacio de los sentidos. La propuesta se convierte en un potenciador de estímulos con una arquitectura que interacciona con el cuerpo humano y actúa como un precedente para propuestas arquitectónicas posteriores.[Abstract] Exhibition spaces act as places for artistic and architectural experimentation. Their capacity to directly interact with the spectator has led to interventions such as the Surrealist Room of the Art of This Century Gallery (Frederick Kiesler, New York, 1942), which are designed to be a space for the senses. The design of this space stimulated the senses through an architecture that interacted with the human body, becoming a precedent for later architectonic designs.
