Análisis de una cámara reverberante mediante herramientas de simulación numérica

Abstract

[Resumen]: Las cámaras reverberantes son instalaciones experimentales que permiten la caracterización acústica de materiales absorbentes en presencia de un campo difuso. En el presente trabajo, se aborda de una forma sencilla cómo las herramientas estándar de simulación numérica permiten estudiar el comportamiento acústico de dichas cámaras cuantificando la isotropía y homogeneidad del campo, además de determinar numéricamente el tiempo de reverberación en presencia o no de materiales absorbentes[Abstract]: Reverberation Rooms are experimental installations that allow the acoustic characterization of absorbent materials in the presence of a diffuse field. In this work, it is easily addressed how standard numerical simulation tools allow studying the acoustic behaviour of these chambers quantifying the isotropy and homogeneity of the field, in addition to numerically determining the reverberation time in the presence or not of absorbent materials
