Abstract
[Resumen]:Entre los cambios de paradigma que está suponiendo la llamada cuarta revolución industrial, también llamada
Industria 4.0, se encuentra que los ciudadanos tenemos que convivir en un mundo cada vez más controlado por los
datos, lo que ya se conoce como Big Data. Esta producción de datos masivos representa un nuevo hito que sin duda
marcará, y ya está marcando, importantes cambios sociales en los próximos años. Estos cambios sociales requieren
que todos los profesionales han de adaptarse a convivir con esta nueva situación, y sin duda, los terapeutas
ocupacionales, al igual que otras profesiones, tendrán un papel muy importante en este nuevo entorno. En este
trabajo se expondrán algunos reflexiones sobre este nuevo contexto y su repercusión en las nuevas profesiones.
[Abstract]: Among the paradigm changes that the so called fourth industrial revolution, also called Industry 4.0, is assuming, we find that citizens have to live in a world increasingly controlled by data, which is already known as Big Data. This production of massive data represents a new milestone that will undoubtedly mark, and is already marking, important social changes in the coming years. These social changes require that all professionals have to adapt to coexist with this new situation, and without a doubt, occupational therapists, like other professions, will have a very important role in this new context. In this work some reflections on this new context and its repercussion in the new professions will be exposed.
