Abstract
[Abstract] The latest labour reforms have tried to encourage recourse to part–time employment contracts, having usage percentages well below the European average, due to its less attractive for workers and employers in Spain. For the employees, part–time work has historically meant a lesser social protection; and for the employers, the labour regime of the part–time employment contract has not added enough elements of flexibility in the management of working time. This article tries to reflect adaptation operated by the legislative amendments and the modalities of part–time employment contract.
