Abstract

[Resumen]: El objetivo de este trabajo de fin de grado es el desarrollo de una aplicación web inspirada en una necesidad personal de gestionar lecturas y descubrir nuevos libros. La aplicación permite a los usuarios añadir libros y buscarlos utilizando diferentes filtros. También es posible agregar los libros a alguna de las tres estanterías que proporciona la aplicación, estas son: Leídos, Leyendo y Por-Leer. Los usuarios podrán publicar sus opiniones a través de reseñas y ver también las opiniones de los demás. Además, pueden seguir o dejar de seguir a otros usuarios, pudiendo ver así sus reseñas recientes. La aplicación ofrece también la opción de ver las estadísticas de lecturas entre dos fechas seleccionadas por el usuario. El backend de la aplicación, que proporciona la lógica de negocio de esta, consiste en una API REST implementada utilizando tecnologías Java, junto con el framework Spring Boot, y MySQL para persistir los datos necesarios. El frontend de la aplicación consiste en una aplicación web SPA implementada utilizando JavaScript, con la ayuda de librerías como React, Redux o Material-UI.[Abstract]: The goal of this final degree project is the development of a web application inspired by a personal need to manage readings and discover new books. The application allows users to add books and search for them using different filters. It is also possible to add the books to one of the three shelves provided by the application, these are: Read, Currently-reading and To-read. Users will be able to publish their opinions through reviews and also see the opinions of others. In addition, they can follow or unfollow other users, thus being able to see their recent reviews. The application also offers the option of viewing reading statistics between two dates selected by the user. The application’s backend, which provides the business logic, consists of a REST API implemented using Java technologies, together with the Spring Boot framework, and MySQL to persist the necessary data. The frontend of the application consists of a SPA web application implemented using JavaScript, with the help of libraries such as React, Redux or Material-UI.
