Abstract
[Resumen]
Este proyecto consta de la creación de un dispositivo compacto, de bajo coste y alta eficiencia
energética que utilizará tecnologías IoT. Este dispositivo IoT consistirá en el envío de una
alerta a la nube que tras procesarla y obtener nuestra ubicación realizará una acción configurada
con anterioridad por el propio usuario. Esta alerta se activa mediante una secuencia
introducida por el usuario utilizando un pulsador. Este sistema permitirá una gran gama de
acciones desde enviar la ubicación del dispositivo por Telegram hasta activar la alarma de
seguridad de una casa si el dispositivo se encuentra dentro de la misma. Un ejemplo de uso
sería:
• Un usuario configura en el sistema que en cuanto la secuencia se introduzca, se debe
enviar la ubicación del dispositivo por SMS al teléfono de su pareja.
• Dado el momento, el usuario introduce la secuencia en el dispositivo y se activa la alerta.
• Esta es recibida por el servidor, que la procesa y obtiene la localización del dispositivo.
• Por último, el sistema envía por SMS la ubicación del dispositivo al teléfono establecido.
Además, en el proyecto, se analizan las tecnologías inalámbricas más conocidas y expandidas
que se utilizan en IoT. Con esto, se realiza un análisis, con el fin de determinar la razón del
por qué se ha escogido LoRa y el protocolo LoRaWAN para el desarrollo de nuestro dispositivo.
Además, en el desarrollo del sistema trabajamos con las plataformas The Things Networks
e IFTTT.

This IoT device will consist of sending an alert to the cloud which, after processing it and obtaining our location, will perform an action previously configured by the user himself. This alert is activated by a sequence introduced by the user using a button. This system will allow a wide range of actions from sending the location of the device by Telegram to activating the security alarm of a house if the device is inside it. An example of use would be: • A user configures the system that as soon as the sequence is entered, the location of the device must be sent by SMS to his partner’s phone. • When the time comes, the user enters the sequence in the device and the alert is activated. • This is received by the server, which processes it and obtains the location of the device. • And finally, the system sends by SMS the location of the device to the established phone. Also, in the project, the best known and most expanded wireless technologies used in IoT are summarized. With this, an analysis is made to determine the reason why LoRa and the LoRaWAN protocol was chosen for the development of our device.
