Colonialidad en la frontera Ceutí. Sebta mashi Schengen, mashi Euroba

Abstract

[Resumen]: La descolonización, entendida como el desmantelamiento de las administraciones coloniales en territorio extranjero, se presenta como uno de los mitos clave para la imaginación geopolítica de cambio de siglo. La diferencia colonial se redefi ne en las fronteras del siglo XXI a través de la regulación y el control de los cuerpos e identidades que se desplazan, que se mueven. En el escenario mediterráneo el espacio ceutí se presenta como un sugerente lugar para explorar el signifi cado de la frontera y ampliarlo a los horizontes de la diferencia y la exclusión. ¿Estamos ante una frontera selectiva y colonial?, ¿quién cruza?, ¿bajo qué condiciones?, y ¿quién no?, ¿dónde está la frontera? La frontera es analizada a través de los espacios de control del migrante con objeto de observar cómo su extensión está vinculada a su carácter diferencial. Ceuta se presenta como un espacio de transición, como una espera, como un limbo.[Abstract]: Decolonization, understood as the dismantling of colonial administration in foreign territory, presents itself as one of geopolitical imagination´s key myths for the period of the turn of the century. Colonial difference re-defi nes itself within the borders of 21st century through both the control and regulation of roving bodies and identities. In the Mediterranean scenario, Ceutan space appears as a suggestive location wherein to explore the meaning of the border along with the horizons of exclusion and difference. Are we facing a selective and colonial border? Who crosses the border? Under which conditions? Moreover, who does not? And also, where is the border? Here, the border is analyzed through the spaces through which the migrant are controlled with the objective of observing its spread as closely related to its differential nature. Ceuta presents itself as a transitional space, as a wait, as a limbo.
