Aplicación para coordinación de equipos para la prevención y extinción de incendios forestales

Abstract

[Resumen]: La lucha contra incendios forestales en Galicia es un desafío constante debido a la alta incidencia de incendios y su impacto devastador en el ecosistema y las comunidades locales. Aunque existen tecnologías de detección temprana, como satélites y líneas telefónicas gratuitas, la falta de interconexión y compartición de datos limita su eficacia. El objetivo de este trabajo de fin de grado es el diseño e implementación de una aplicación web con tecnologías Java/SpringBoot y JavaScript/React que permita centralizar la gestión de alertas de incendios, así como los propios incendios, personal y equipos involucrados en su extinción. La aplicación contará con una representación gráfica sobre un mapa de las áreas afectadas por los incendios, y además almacenará información sobre los incendios extinguidos y su evolución. Incluirá también información meteorológica en tiempo real para ayudar en la toma de decisiones que permitan determinar la mejor línea de actuación en cada caso.[Abstract]: The fight against forest fires in Galicia is a constant challenge due to the high incidence of fires and their devastating impact on the ecosystem and local communities. Although early detection technologies such as satellites and toll-free phone lines exist, the lack of interconnection and data sharing limits their effectiveness. The objective of this undergraduate thesis is the design and implementation of a web application using Java/SpringBoot and JavaScript/React technologies that centralizes the management of fire alerts, as well as the fires themselves, personnel, and equipment involved in their extinguishment. The application will feature a graphical representation on a map of the areas affected by the fires and will also store information about extinguished fires and their progression. It will also include real-time weather information to assist in decision-making that determines the best course of action in each case.
