Abstract
[Resumen]: Este proyecto de fin de grado consiste en el desarrollo de una aplicación móvil basada en
Android que permita a trabajadores y especialistas en el campo de la educación diseñar actividades
y ejercicios basados en apoyos visuales para personas que no disponen de un nivel de
habla suficiente para comunicarse de forma satisfactoria. Este proyecto está orientado a mejorar
el proceso de aprendizaje en personas con dificultades en el lenguaje oral, así como para
afianzar sus habilidades comunicativas. Uno de los objetivos principales del proyecto es que
la aplicación sea visualmente simple y funcional, tanto para alumnos como para profesores.
La idea es que los profesores dispongan de un entorno de desarrollo de ejercicios completo,
funcional y de poca complejidad, y que los alumnos requieran realizar el menor número de
acciones complejas o guiadas por los profesores para navegar por la aplicación.
Los profesionales dispondrán de un amplio abanico de posibilidades para la personalización
y configuración de diferentes tipos de juegos y ejercicios, pudiendo personalizar la
apariencia, detalles o el nivel de dificultad del proyecto para cada niño específicamente. Los
educadores disponen de un portal público por el que podrán compartir sus proyectos con el
fin de que puedan ser útiles a otros educadores.
Por último, esta aplicación permitirá a los educadores realizar un seguimiento de cada
estudiante, integrando una recopilación y visualización de métricas y estadísticas del rendimiento
del alumno para cada proyecto por medio de diferentes gráficas, pudiendo así evaluar
su rendimiento, progreso, etc.
[Abstract]: This end-of-degree project covers the development of an Android mobile app which aims to facilitate teachers and other special education specialists with a tool that allows them to design and create projects and activities that provide visual guiding for their students. This project is learning oriented, specifically intended to people with communication disorders and also oriented towards enhancing their communicative abilities. One of the main goals of this project is the design of an app with an user interface being both visually appealing, simple and functional, both for the students and for the teachers. The aim is for teachers to have a fully functional development environment whithout it being too complex, and for students to be able to navigate through the application without the need for a teacher’s assistance or the need to perform complicated tasks. Professionals are provided with a wide range of possible setting customizations for different kinds of games and exercises, being able to customize their appearance, information data or assesing the project’s difficulty for each student specifically. Teachers also have the capability to upload their projects to a public portal, allowing teachers to share their work and help others. Lastly, this application allows teachers to track a specific students progress and results on a project, as it gathers the students statistics and shows them in different types of charts.
