Abstract
[Resumen]: El objetivo principal del presente trabajo es el desarrollo de una aplicación móvil capaz de
evaluar y mejorar el empleo de textismos o abreviaturas SMS en estudiantes del último curso
de educación primaria, con el objetivo de compensar déficits en aquellos alumnos con bajas
competencias de lecto-escritura. En respuesta a las necesidades de un equipo de investigación
educativa, se ha elaborado un tutorial con múltiples ejercicios de distintos formatos y basados
en diferentes técnicas de aprendizaje. Además, se ha dotado a la aplicación de la capacidad
para guardar los datos y representar los resultados de manera detallada posibilitando, de este
modo, el análisis pormenorizado del rendimiento de los usuarios y el estudio de la eficacia de
la intervención diseñada.
[Abstract]: The main objective of this work is the development of a mobile application capable of evaluating and improving the use of textisms or abbreviations SMS in students of the last year of primary education, with the objective of compensating deficits in those students with low literacy skills. In response to the needs of an educational research team, a tutorial has been developed with multiple exercises of different formats and based on different learning techniques. In addition, the application has been given the capacity to store the data and to represent the results in a detailed manner, enabling the detailed analysis of user performance and the study of the effectiveness of the intervention designed.
