La RS: hacia la excelencia económica, social, medioambietal y de gobierno corporativo

Abstract

[Resumen] Este trabajo pretende definir cuáles son las responsabilidades sociales de una organización y por qué y ante quiénes debe ser la organización socialmente responsable. Por otra parte, se ofrece información sobre las diferentes iniciativas que actualmente existen en torno a la Responsabilidad Social (RS) a nivel internacional y en España. También se analiza, tanto el grado de desarrollo de la Responsabilidad Social, como la aplicación de sus dimensiones principales (transparencia, buen gobierno, rendición de cuentas…) a un caso práctico, el de una organización del ámbito sanitario, gestionada a través de fondos públicos (INIBIC). Finalmente, el trabajo expone conclusiones precisas sobre el nivel alcanzado por dicha organización en términos de RS.[Abstract] This work aims to define what the social responsibilities of an organization are and why and to whom it must be socially responsible for. On the other hand, it provides information on the different initiatives that currently exist on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) both at the international level and within Spain. Also aspects such as the degree of development of CSR and the application of its main dimensions (transparency, good governance, accountability...) are analyzed. For this a case study of a healthcare organization, managed and financed through public funds (INIBIC) was used. Finally, the work exposes accurate conclusions about the level reached by this organization in terms of CSR.
