Don Quijote en la literatura infantil y juvenil serbia

Abstract

[Resumen] El Quijote viene adaptándose en Serbia para uso juvenil/infantil desde 1882. A partir de este momento, las versiones se están multiplicando, principalmente traducidas del francés, alemán y ruso (una). Un número elevado de estos libros se publica en los años 30 del siglo XX (por razones que iremos explicando) y sigue publicándose después de 1945, aunque con otro material ilustrativo. Presentamos estas adaptaciones en detalle, examinando su influencia en la vida cultural y literaria serbia, y subrayamos la necesidad de nuevos Quijotitos a la altura del siglo XXI.[Abstract] Cervantes´ Don Quijote adaptations for children and young readers are published in Serbia since 1882. Since that moment, multiple versions have been published, mainly translated from French, German and Russian (one). A significant number of these books were issued during the thirties of the XX century (for reasons we will explain) and continue to be published after 1945, most frequently with different graphic material. We present these adaptations in detail, analyzing their impact on cultural and literary life in Serbia and stressing out the necessity of new Quijotitos, in harmony with the XXI century
