Expert system for generating and validating dynamic forms in order to evaluate and certify the sustainability of a building.

Abstract

[Abstract] The current BREEAM platform is a software tool that enables building assessors to register projects for which they want to obtain a sustainability certificate, and follow its certification process, which by an ordered exchange of documents between the assessors and the BREEAM technicians, the obtainment of the desired certificate. One of the main documents needed for the obtainment of a BREEAM sustainability certificate that are currently sent forth and back between the assessors and the BREEAM technician is the evaluation form, which is the main focus of this project. Concretely, the main goal of this project is the creation of an expert system that uses the evaluation logic of the technical manual used by BREEAM to digitize and automate the generation of dynamic forms that have real-time updates, after which the structure and views of these forms have to be developed on the frontend, and finally, the consequent integration of both the expert system and the frontend side of the evaluation form into the existing platform that manages the process of obtainment of a sustainability certificate.

[Resumo] A actual plataforma BREEAM é unha ferramenta software que abilita aos asesores de edificios o rexistro de proxectos para os que eles queren obter un certificado de sustañibilidade, e seguer o proceso de certificación do proxecto, o cal a través dun ordeado intercambio de documentos entre ditos asesores e os técnicos de BREEAM, a obtención dos certificados desexados. Un dos documentos máis importantes que é requirido para a obtención dun certificado BREEAM de sustñibilidade e que actualmente é enviado entre os asesores e os técnicos de BREEAM é o formulario de evaluación, o cal será o foco principal deste TFG. Concretamente, o obxectivo principal deste TFG é a creación dun sistema experto que use a lóxica de evaluación do manual técnico usado por BREEAM para a dixitalizar e automatizar a xeración de formularios dinámicos que sexan actualizados en tempo real, tras o cal terá que desenvolverse a estrutura e vistas do formulario no frontend, e finalmente, a consecuente integración de tanto o sistema experto como a parte do frontend do formulario na plataforma actual que manexa o proceso de obtención de certificados de sustañibilidade.
