Abstract
[Abstract] Extrusion bioprinting is an additive manufacturing technology with huge possibilities in the creation of engineered tissues. There are many researches about materials, cells and their interrelation. Nevertheless, there are not many researches about how the mechanics affect to cellular viability. In this way, we have done CFD simulations to check how the viscosity of materials can affect the pressure distribution in the tip of a nozzle. These results will be updated, in future works, with simulations of several materials and geometries.
