[Resumen] La obra literaria de Jorge Edwards sostiene un diálogo constante entre historia y novela. En estas páginas establecemos los fundamentos teóricos de la propuesta estética de Edwards, según la cual historia y novela están hermanadas en la construcción del discurso.
