Abstract
[Abstract] The concept of biopolitics has been fundamental to understand power in contemporary societies, but in the 21st century emerge approaches about a world that is no longer explained from this scheme. This paper presents an analysis of the conceptual elements that set the transition from biopolitics to psychopolitics, from where Byung-Chul Han works on the logics of power in post-disciplinary capitalism of the digital era. The author argues that the control models have mutated towards forms of subjectivation where the discipline is transformed into technologies of intelligent power that operate from the cyberspace. The first part introduces the problem and reviews the elements of the biopolitics and the liberal homo economicus. The second module presents a genealogy of the digital technologies that set up the technical-media framework of psychopolitics and analyzes the categories with which Han constructs that concept. Finally, certain theoretical perspectives about power in digital societies are contrasted, drawing the horizon of contradictions of the psycho-political capitalism
