O uso de vídeos em trabalhos com educação ambiental na educação básica

Abstract

[Resumo] Esse trabalho apresenta parte dos resultados de uma investigação sobre o levantamento, análise e utilização de vídeos, disponíveis em sites de domínio público, que pudessem ter um caráter educacional para o trabalho com Educação Ambiental. Entende-se que vídeos permitem ampliar as possibilidades do professor ensinar e do aluno aprender por meio de uma linguagem dinâmica e ilustrativa, apresentando-se como uma ferramenta capaz de oportunizar e enriquecer a aprendizagem. A força da linguagem audiovisual reside no potencial em ser capaz de dizer muito mais do que captamos, chegar simultaneamente por muito mais caminhos do que conscientemente percebemos, e encontrar dentro de nós uma repercussão em imagens básicas, centrais, simbólicas, arquetípicas, com as quais nos identificamos, ou que se relacionam conosco de alguma forma. Tais características podem, em muitos aspectos, contribuir para o trabalho com Educação Ambiental, no sentido de sensibilizar os alunos através do uso de sons e imagens, por exemplo. Os vídeos foram utilizados no intuito de ilustrar, discutir e ampliar os conhecimentos sobre Educação Ambiental. A pesquisa permitiu uma análise criteriosa dos instrumentos utilizados, como suporte pedagógico e objeto de reflexão no processo de ensino-aprendizagem, potencializando a construção de saberes significativos.

[Abstract] This paper presents part of the results of an investigation into the survey, analysis and use of videos available in the public domain sites, which could have an educational character to work with environmental education. It is understood that videos allow you to extend the possibilities of the teacher teaching and student learning through a dynamic and illustrative language, presenting itself as a tool to create opportunities and enrich learning. The strength of audio-visual language lies in the potential of being able to say much more than raise, arrive simultaneously by more ways than consciously perceive, and find within ourselves a rebound in basic images, central, symbolic, archetypal, with which we identify, or that relate to us in some way. Such characteristics can, in many ways, contribute to the work with environmental education, in order to sensitize students through the use of sounds and images, for example. The videos were used in order to illustrate, discuss and expand knowledge on the environmental education. The research allowed a thorough analysis of the instruments used, such as educational support and object of reflection in the teaching-learning process, enhancing the construction of significant knowledge.
