Educação ambiental para comunidades sustentáveis: Rede Paranaense de Pesquisa em Educação Ambiental por Bacia Hidrográfica, Paraná, Brasil

Abstract

[Resumo] Este artigo apresenta resultados parciais de pesquisa em que se busca responder - como se constituí a formação da Rede Paranaense de Pesquisa em Educação Ambiental por Bacia Hidrográfica. Busca-se, como objetivo, analisar os elementos articuladores de educação ambiental como prática educativa socioambiental, nas universidades da rede pública estadual de ensino do Estado do Paraná, localizadas nestas bacias. Trata-se da organização da Educação Ambiental em 07 núcleos, tendo como base as sete Instituições Estaduais de Ensino Superior do Paraná, a partir da mobilização para integrar as ações de educação ambiental escolar. Esta Rede tem atuado na organização de pesquisas e políticas públicas de educação ambiental no território da bacia hidrográfica, com enfoque dos impactos e riscos ambientais nas cidades e no campo, visando à formação da cultura de preservação ambiental e cidadãos comprometidos com a sustentabilidade planetária. A referência metodológica parte da abordagem da pesquisa-ação. Buscou-se articular ações de pesquisa e extensão, integradas ao ensino. Resultados parciais desta pesquisa indicam que tais Instituições de Ensino do Paraná, estão construindo as adequações na gestão, na organização curricular e nos aspectos físicos visando atenderem aos preceitos legais vigentes da Política de Educação Ambiental.

[Abstract] This article presents partial research results in seeking to answer - how to constitute the formation of the Paraná’s Environmental Education Watershed Research Network. It is intended to search and analyze the articulatory elements of environmental education and social-environmental practice, in the public teaching universities of the State of Paraná located in these watersheds. The environmental education organization is based on seven cores, each core is related with the seven Higher Education Institutions of the State, from mobilization to integrate the actions of academicals environmental education. This network has been active in environmental education research organization and public policies within the watershed, focusing in the environmental impacts and risks in cities and the countryside, aiming the shaping of the culture of environmental preservation and global sustainability commitment citizenship. The methodological reference organization is built in the action research approach. It sought to articulate research and extension, integrated with teaching. Partial results of this research show that Paraná’s Higher Education Institutions are building the adjustments in management, curriculum organization and the physical aspects aiming to meet the current legal requirements of the Environmental Education Policy.
