| dc.description.abstract | [Abstract] The article offers a study of the concept of “ingenio” (wit) from Gracián’s epistemology. A brief history of the origin of the term introduces the topic of the relation between genius and ingenius. Later on the anthropology and the epistemology of the “ingenio” are analysed and finally the relation between “ingenio”, “agudeza”, judgement and taste is offered by way of conclusion. | |
